East Carbon Elementary School

Description

This new elementary school consists of 8 classrooms, one computer room, gymnasium, resource, cafeteria, library, boys and girls restrooms and two janitorial rooms. All classrooms had their own roof top heating and cooling units. Exterior and interior walls used honed and staggered split-face concrete block. Layout consisted of two main corridors with adjacent classrooms. This site location replaced the old East Carbon High School and included demolition of the high school, parking lot, and associated driveways.
