A new, 252 bed student housing building with reinforced concrete footings, foundation walls, concrete floor slab, CMU and steel framed walls with brick veneer, steel joist with steel deck, roof insulation & single ply roofing, full mechanical and electrical systems, hydraulic elevator, interior and exterior window and door systems, interior gypsum board on steel stud walls, suspended acoustical and gypsum board ceilings, wall coverings, millwork, paint, resilient flooring, and ceramic tile.

 This project also featured a complex, re-circulating, hot water heating system, which required close coordination with the owner, architect, engineers, and subcontractors. Management of milestone completion was challenging for compliance with parking, landscaping, athletic events, youth groups, camps and other campus activities that affected the daily construction schedules. It was critical that each milestone be completed on or before the set schedule deadlines. This allowed the owners’ long range goals to be met with ease and without interruption to student life on campus.
