This new elementary replaces an aging facility, bringing new, modern learning space to elementary students in Emery County. The new school was built on the south-west corner of the block where the existing school was located, keeping school in session during construction. After completion and move to the new school, the current school was demolished and reconfigured into expanded parking, lawn, and play areas.

The new school building includes all standard elementary school amenities including 10 standard classrooms, 2 kindergarten classrooms, 1 preschool classroom, gymnasium, a media center, and a kitchen with a lunchroom. The site is fully developed with parking lots, roads, landscaping, grass play-fields, a fenced playground for upper grades, a separate fenced playground for the kindergarten, and asphalt play areas.

This new elementary school is an exciting addition for the town of Ferron and is the heart of the small community it serves.
