Apple Valley Elementary
Description
With southern Utah County growing at an exponential rate, and to accommodate an increasing number of students, Nebo School District urged the construction of Apple Valley, its 30th elementary school.
With work being done in the middle of Santaquin’s newest residential areas the construction of Apple Valley was closely monitored to protect the public and limit impact on surrounding communities.
Apple Valley has a traditional red brick exterior and an unique entryway illuminated by several skylights. The school includes thirty-two (32) classrooms, four (4) kindergarten rooms, three (3) resource rooms, two (2) computer rooms, one (1) special education unit, one (1) music room, one (1) student meeting area, administration area with workroom, faculty lounge, storage media center kitchen cafeteria, and multipurpose rooms.
