Description
This new, single story elementary school is resting on an extensive concrete and steel beam lattice that is being supported by 251 dynamically driven h-piles, driven to a depth of 90 ft. A sufficient amount of engineering and coordination had to take place by working with the Owner, Architect and Engineers to design the most efficient and cost effective way to support the building, as the soil conditions are extremely poor. The building is comprised of masonry structure, featuring acoustical ceilings and an accommodating gymnasium and dining area, comfortable administration room, and user friendly classrooms.
