Spanish Fork Fire Station
ABOUT THIS PROJECT
For more than 100 years, Spanish Fork residents have relied on a department of volunteer firefighters and EMS personnel to respond to emergency calls and residential fires. To meet the needs of their growing population, city officials began construction on a second fire station to improve response times and better serve their community. The 14,500 sq. ft. state-of-the-art public safety facility was built on a tight site with limited staging areas and features a modern, one-level design. Station 62, which was completed ahead of schedule, has seven firefighter dorm rooms, three pull-through entrances, a 3-bay Apparatus Bay with storage mezzanine, fitness room, training/meeting room, full kitchen/dining area with island, two oven/ranges, three fridges and dishwasher, day room, and police office and interview room.
