Union High is oriented along a large, main hallway, with classrooms to the west and auditorium and gyms to the east. The facility includes all standard high school amenities; including an administration and counseling area, media center, commons, auditorium with drama, choral, band facilities, a sunken gymnasium and auxiliary gym, a weight/fitness room and wrestling room, and business classrooms.

The second story houses the science classrooms and labs, along with standard classrooms, with mezzanines to house mechanical, electrical and data equipment. The site is fully-developed with parking areas and access roads, as well as new tennis courts, football stadium, softball fields and various practice fields.
