Who we are

This website is operated by Westland Construction ("Westland", "we", "us"), a general contractor headquartered in Orem, Utah. This policy explains what information the website collects, why, and what choices you have.

Information you give us

When you send a message through our contact form, we collect what you enter: the reason for contacting us, your name, your email address, and your message, plus your organization and country if you provide them. We also record the page you sent it from and the date and time.

When you ask to prequalify as a subcontractor through ourprequalification request form, we collect what you enter: your company name, your name, your email address, and the trades or scopes of work you perform, plus your phone number, where you work, your company website, and any other notes if you provide them. We also record the page you sent it from and the date and time. Requests are reviewed by Westland's estimating team in Westland's internal tools, where we also note whether we invited you to prequalify. If we do, we email you a link to our prequalification form.

We use this information only to respond to you, to decide whether to invite you to prequalify, and to keep ordinary business records of the conversation. We do not sell it, rent it, or use it for advertising.

Information collected automatically

• Spam protection. Our contact and prequalification request forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated spam. When you submit a form, Turnstile evaluates signals from your browser, and we pass your IP address to Cloudflare to verify the result. We do not store your IP address with what you submit.
• Visit statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are useful. It does not use cookies, does not build a profile of you, and does not follow you to other websites.
• Hosting and security. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as IP addresses and browser type to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.

Cookies and this device

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Some pages include content from other companies, described below, which may set their own cookies under their own policies.

Other companies' sites and content

• Careers. Our job listings come from ADP. When you apply, you do so on ADP's website, and ADP handles your application under its own privacy policy.
• Bid Room. The Bid Room page shows our public bid board from BuildingConnected (an Autodesk service), which operates under Autodesk's privacy statement.
• Social media. Links to LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram take you to those services. Nothing from them loads on this website until you click.

Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that run the website for us (Cloudflare hosts the site, stores form submissions, checks for spam, counts visits, and delivers our notification emails), when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of others. If Westland's business is reorganized or sold, information may transfer as part of that transaction.

How long we keep it

We keep contact-form messages and prequalification requests for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep ordinary business records, and then delete them.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. Contact us using the details below and we will respond.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Visitors outside the United States

Westland works internationally, but this website and the information it collects are operated from, and stored in, the United States.
