Westland Construction built the new Emery High School in Castle Dale, Utah, with KMA Architects as architect. The work added about 143,000 square feet of new construction and tied it into about 130,000 square feet of existing space, the Spartan Center and auditorium. The new building is two stories of masonry with steel joists and deck. It holds a main commons with an upper balcony, administration and counseling offices, a media center, computer labs, choral and drama rooms, and a shop wing with metal, wood and automotive shops. It also has foods and sewing rooms, a weight room, an auxiliary gym, classrooms and labs, a district training room, and a fully finished site with soccer fields. Construction began in April 2022 and reached substantial completion in July 2025. The result gives Emery County students a modern campus built around the facilities for the community and students.
