Education K-12

Sage Canyon Middle School, located in the rapidly growing community of Eagle Mountain, Utah, is based on the junior high/middle school prototype developed for Alpine School District by VCBO Architects. This innovative design reflects the latest trends in educational planning, promoting collaboration, interdisciplinary learning, and student engagement.
The school is organized around a central corridor—“Main Street”—which divides the building into five smaller academies, creating a “school within a school” environment. Three of the academies house core academic subjects, while the remaining two are home to elective programs such as Family & Consumer Science, Business, Technology, and Visual Arts. This layout supports a more personalized educational experience by dividing the 1,500-student population into smaller, close-knit learning communities.
