Westland Construction built Geneva Rock Products’ new 25,235-square-foot Ready Mix batch plant facility in Payson, Utah, with Samuel J Brady Architects as architect. The project brings concrete production, fleet maintenance, and operations together on one site. A batch office and a truck shop are built with insulated tilt-up concrete panels and steel joist roofs. The truck shop includes service bays, a lube pit, a parts room, and a finished second-floor mezzanine. The batch plant rests on heavy equipment foundations, with enclosed aggregate bins and hoppers and an aggregate feed system. The site also includes a fueling station, process piping, pump stations, and snow and ice protection for year-round production. Westland also delivered Main Street and 1400 North street improvements, landscaping and site-wide security. The team placed hundreds of embeds and coordinated closely between the building, equipment and process systems. Construction began in January 2025 and reached substantial completion in September 2026, giving Geneva Rock a modern, efficient plant to serve south Utah County.
