Westland Construction completed a 4,237-square-foot tenant improvement at Provo Airport for Provo City, with MHTN Architects as architect. The work built a new badging office and the American Airlines suite on the south end of the terminal’s second floor. The scope included selective demolition, new metal stud framing, drywall, insulation, acoustical ceilings, and carpet tile and luxury vinyl tile flooring. The finished space has a reception and waiting area with a new desk, offices, a break room with millwork and a hand sink, and storage rooms. Work began in July 2024 under a tight schedule and budget, and it demanded close coordination to work through the logistics of an operating airport while keeping quality high. The team delivered the space in fall 2024, and American Airlines moved in as scheduled.
