The Falls at Trolley Square

Westland Construction completed the build-out of the 16,000-square-foot Falls Event Center at Trolley Square in Salt Lake City. Westland was selected on qualifications and delivered the work as construction manager under a guaranteed maximum price (GMP). The project turned two 8,000-square-foot shell buildings into an elegant, affordable venue for weddings and business events. Over 14 months, the team installed all-new electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems, high-end finishes, and state-of-the-art sound and lighting. Throughout, it preserved the vintage look and feel of the historic Trolley Square structures. Each building includes a main event hall, bride and groom suites, a courtyard, a servers’ kitchen, and a boardroom that doubles as a game room. The event center was completed in January 2016, giving Salt Lake City a distinctive setting for celebrations and gatherings.
