The Torreón Mexico Temple campus, currently under construction, is located in the suburb of Gómez Palacio on a 0.89-acre site, directly across from an existing meetinghouse. The campus will feature a beautifully designed, single-story, 10,125-square-foot temple with a central tower, one instruction room, one sealing room, and one baptistry. In addition to the temple building, the site will include an accommodation center, a distribution center, a residence for the temple president and matron, and an expanded meetinghouse to house an arrival center. Throughout the course of this project, the team has implemented valuable lessons learned from previous temple construction efforts, refining processes to improve efficiency and coordination. Newly developed procedures for procurement and scheduling have been especially effective in managing long-lead materials and maintaining project momentum. The Torreón project has also strengthened collaboration among design and construction partners, ensuring consistent communication, adherence to quality standards, and timely achievement of milestones—all of which contribute to a successful, well-coordinated delivery of this sacred facility.
