Westland Construction built a new 5,200-square-foot branch for Wells Fargo Bank N.A. in American Fork, Utah, providing construction management services with subcontractor prequalification. The one-story building has a structural steel frame with metal stud framing over a full basement, which gives the branch extra space for storage and support functions. Large storefront windows open the banking lobby to natural light and give the branch a welcoming street presence. A drive-up lane with pneumatic tube transfer offers customers convenient service without leaving their cars. Westland’s prequalification process helped assemble a capable team of subcontractors to deliver the quality Wells Fargo expected. The branch was completed in July 2005, giving American Fork residents a convenient, accessible place to bank.
